Playing with a changing rule set

After playing a new round of 1000p matches we got a new rule book, and new army books.
Go team 9th age, very productive so far.



Unfortunately our (new) 1000p lists are now out of date and not even legal.
 So I will not bother with writing up battle reports for these games.

I can just say that VC was completely tabled in both games and are trailing with 2 Victory points.

Chaos (or Warriors of the dark gods) takes the lead with I think 40 points.
Skaven just behind with 38.

In an effort to not have to replay these 1000p games ad infinitum we have agreed to restart with new lists at 1500p, keep the score from our second 1000p games and continue with the escalation from 1500 points.

If the vargheists could hold for one turn the ghouls would probably break his steadfast and route those rats including BSB and general.

Unfortunately after a massive magic round (12-6 dice) the rats were fighting with rerolls to hit, AP2, a nasty breath attack from the engineer and every rat got to make an attack. My unit simply exploded, including the General and BSB.

Managed to keep the ghouls alive for a massive 2VP though.

Also we managed to end 8th edition with a bang, a picture from our 20K game UL vs Empire.

KFA was a real dick, ruining the game for everyone.
